| IntroductionThe Art and Design Technology work on this site has all been completed by students that I, Julie Brockway, have taught. During my teaching career I have taught in the UK, Africa and Thailand. I am offering home workshops in Dorset in June 2014 to help students reach their full potential. Student WorkWorking directly from observation my students learn to be original in their interpretation of artists' & designers' work. Knowledge of art history is explored through theoretical contextual analysis and practical process. All students study artists'styles by experiencing galleries first hand. Students produce coursework for their qualifications and learn the exam assessment objectives. Their work is personal. They learn variety of techniques and experiment, combining materials and exploring techniques. Drawing is priority and a core part of the art and design program. If you have any questions about either the GCSE or A level or courses please contact me |
